WayformEarly access

What Wayform collects, and why.

This notice describes the current early-access service. It is intentionally plain about what is built, what is still manual, and which providers process data.

Who this service is for

Wayform is currently an early-access test for adults aged 18 or older. Any adult with a verified Google account can sign up after confirming that eligibility, but the product remains experimental. The operator is the founder of Wayform in Australia. For privacy questions, use the support page.

Information we handle

  • Account details: Google supplies your email address, basic profile details, and a provider identifier so Wayform can sign you in and keep your account data separate from other users.
  • Age eligibility: Wayform records that you confirmed you are 18 or older, the confirmation version, and when it was made. It does not ask for or store your birth date or identity document.
  • Study-space data: questionnaire answers, subjects, topics, preferences, generated pages, responses, feedback, attempts, weak-point estimates, schedules, workflow settings, and save history.
  • Technical data: security and service logs may include timestamps, request metadata, browser/device details, and IP-derived information needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Browser data: session cookies and local recovery, theme, or draft state may be stored on the device you use.

The current early-access app has no dedicated source-material paste/import flow and does not accept file or image uploads. You can type ordinary, bounded study requests, topics, and answers. Do not put confidential material, health records, whole course documents, or other sensitive source material into those text fields.

How the information is used

Wayform uses this information to authenticate you, save your workspace, generate and grade interactive study material, adapt later questions, suggest a plan, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and evaluate whether the prototype is usable. It is not used for targeted advertising and early access does not include third-party analytics.

Service providers

Google and Supabase support sign-in; Supabase stores authenticated workspace data; Vercel hosts the application; and DeepSeek processes the prompts needed to generate AI study content. These providers may process data outside Australia under their own terms and infrastructure. Wayform does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or Contacts, and does not sell personal information.

Retention, access, and deletion

Data is kept only while it is needed to run and evaluate early access, resolve incidents, and meet applicable obligations. Exact operational retention periods and a self-service account deletion tool are not yet available. Before participating, you may ask the founder for a copy, correction, or deletion through the support channel. Do not treat browser recovery or the service as your only copy of important work.

Choices and questions

You can stop using Wayform at any time. Signing out stops the active session but does not by itself delete saved data. See the support page for help, or read the early-access terms.
